The Panel Room/Retrofit Style is a compact, powerful and cost effective 2-8 door traditional style controller, designed to be easily scalable and make retrofits seamless. The AAC-1001 can
control up to 2 doors and be expanded to 8 doors with the addition of 3 AAC-1003.

Enclosure Lockable and vented steel enclosure, 13.6″ x 3″ x 19.3″.
Communication
  • 1 X RJ-45 10/100 Mbps ethernet port, PoE standard (15.4W), 100m max distance. Wire Spec 100m max distance, Cat5 or better.
  • 2 x RS485 used to communicate to AAC-1003 and/or Readers (use interconnect strips, included) Wire spec 600m Max Distance, 2 conductor stranded, twisted pair 22 AWG, shielded.
Power Supply
  • 1 x 12-13.8VDC input lA-5.SA depending on attached devices/locks. Power requirements guide available. Generic 12VDC SA power supply available Power.
  • 1 x battery backup terminal.12VDC 7AH recommended.
Inputs
  • 6 X Fully configurable digital inputs. Supports supervised state with included 12 X 1k ohm resistors. Wire Spec 152m Max Distance, 2 Conductors stranded 22 AWG, shielded.
  • 2 X Wiegand ports. Wire Spec 152m Max Distance, 2 Conductors stranded not twisted, 22 AWG, shielded.
Outputs
  • 2 X Lock power up to 12V @ 500mA. Wire Spec 152m Max Distance, 2 Conductors stranded 18 AWG.
  • 4X Solid state relays up to 24V @ 1A.
  • 1 X 12V out up to 12V @ 300mA. Wire spec 152m Max Distance, 2conductors stranded 22AWG.
Storage Stores up to 100,000 cardholders. Stores up to 50,000 events. First in first out queue.

MISC
  • Super capacitor maintains data and time up to 1 month without power.
  • Photo-resistive tamper sensor.
  • Piezo buzzer. Automatic DST switch.
Software
  • Door controller is programmed and monitored from PN server software.
  • Software can be hosted by Aurora controls, Security integrator or via local/ remote Windows PC/ Server.
