OSDP Verified Products, When you need interoperable, high-security access control solutions, choose products bearing the OSDP Verified mark.
OSDP Profiles:
- Basic: These devices serve as Wiegand replacements and offer the added benefits of a bidirectional protocol, safeguarding against common man-in-the-middle attacks.
- Secure: In addition to meeting the Basic profile requirements, these devices support encrypted messages using a Secure Channel and can switch between Basic and Secure modes as needed.
- Smart Card: These devices are capable of handling the transfer of structured data units necessary for smart card operations, making them suitable for environments such as Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM) and Personal Identity Verification (PIV).
- Biometric: These devices utilize OSDP messages to read and match biometric templates for enhanced security.
MIFARE DESFire®:
Supports NXP’s MIFARE DESFire EV1, EV2, EV3 and MIFARE 2GO credential technologies.
